Feeling a little peckish? Kujira Shokudo is open until midnight and offers small rice bowls and of course, everyone’s favourite; RAMEN. Located right next to Higashi-Koganei station, the shop is in the best place for a late-night feed (or, whenever?! Open from 10AM everyday)

Order on a machine at the entrance of the shop, take the printed ticket with your order from the machine and hand this ticket to the waiter, find a seat and (wait a little) and enjoy! The noodle dishes on offer are either normal ramen (as pictured above) noodles or ‘tsukemen’ which are noodles you dip into a slightly thicker sauce-like broth. (Noodles are on the flatter and thicker side.)
